On November 23rd, 2011, Mr. Su Haihong, HEI Chief Project Officer and the General Manager of the 2nd Thermal Power Division, was awarded the title “Outstanding International Project Manager for 2011” by the China International Contractors Association.

The 2011 Campaign for Outstanding International Project Manager qualifications were sponsored by the China International Contractors Association and received strong support from SASAC, the Ministry of Commerce and other relevant government departments, as well as guidance from the Chartered Institute of Building and Chartered Institute of Civil Engineering Surveyors, as well as other authoritative international institutes. Adhering to the scientific, open, fair and impartial principles of the third-party professional evaluation agency and in strict accordance with the＂outstanding international project manager qualification criteria＂, a total of 25 important indicators for comprehensive evaluation of international project managers were recommended by enterprises. These were set up in line with five aspects of international project managers, including quality, ability, and performance, which the qualification committee used in their evaluation, giving the results solid industry representativeness and credibility.

Chief Project Officer Su Haihong won the honor on behalf of HEI, a strong recognition of our company’s long-standing strategy to cultivate high-quality, inter-disciplinary international project management talent.
