In the Vietnam Electricity Growth forum and summit held in 2009, the Vietnam Energy Association awarded HEI with the Vietnam Electricity Growth Outstanding Contribution Prize, this is the highest honor we have obtained in the overseas market, and it is the first time a Chinese power plant construction company has won such an award.
In recent years, HEI, with the help of self-developed products by HE, its own good reputation and the rich project execution experience that we have in the overseas market, we have been able to establish our brand name in Vietnam, and our market share there is steadily expanding. Since we were awarded the contract for our first project in Vietnam, the Hiep Phuoc 3×125MW Power Plant, in 1993, we have grasped every opportunity and have now contracted and built the Caongan 2×50MW Thermal Power Plant, the SeSan 2×54MW Hydropower Plant, the Tuyen Quang Hydropower Station and the Campha 2×300MW Coal-fired Power Plant, with a total installed capacity of 1525MW.
Being awarded such a special title, not only a recognition by the Vietnamese for the work we have done, but it also means that the products and services provided by HEI and HE are fully accepted and trusted by the Vietnamese, this can further strengthen our competitiveness in expanding into the overseas markets. |
