The Nairyah 2 project is a key undertaking under Saudi Vision 2030, aimed at optimizing the power mix and improving the grid's peak-shaving capacity. It is of great significance to upgrading the local energy structure and keeping the grid running stably.

The documentary Together We Illuminate is based on Harbin Electric International (HEI)’s Nairyah 2 project in Saudi Arabia. It gives a true-to-life account of how the project team put down roots overseas and worked on the front line to build the plant.

The film focuses on key scenes such as tackling construction challenges and delivering on contractual commitments with precision. It vividly portrays the builders’ determination in pressing ahead with the project despite hardship and danger, and it conveys the sense of responsibility of HEI’s people, who work as one and pour their strength into practical action.

These HEI builders traveled far from home to work along the Silk Road. Through perseverance and hard work, they have brought light to the desert, demonstrating the formidable capability and sense of responsibility with which Chinese enterprises fulfill their contracts overseas. (Video Attached)
