During China’s National Quality Month in September 2026, Harbin Electric Corporation (HEC) focused on the theme of “Strengthening the Technical Foundations of Quality and Enhancing Quality and Safety Assurance,” deeply practiced the quality concept of “Following Rules and Standards, Getting It Right the First Time, Delivering Craftsmanship in Quality, and Striving for Continuous Improvement,” and coordinated and systematically implemented a series of quality improvement initiatives. Each subsidiary focused on its core business and took targeted action through diverse measures such as skills competitions, awareness sessions drawing lessons from past incidents, dedicated improvement campaigns, and training. These measures reinforced accountability for quality and strengthened the foundations of quality management, creating a culture across the Group in which everyone values quality, every task prioritizes quality, and quality standards are upheld everywhere.
HEI, in particular, launched targeted quality improvement initiatives tailored to the practical needs of overseas project construction, focusing on four core areas: technical quality, product quality, engineering quality, and service quality. Concentrating on critical construction procedures and key stages of quality control, HEI comprehensively identified and addressed potential quality risks and took targeted corrective action to resolve weaknesses. It continued to improve quality management throughout the entire overseas project process, further enhancing the quality of overseas project delivery and the level of service provided.

In the next step, building on this Quality Month campaign, HEC will further improve its quality management system to cover the entire industrial chain, every process, and all areas of operation. It will reinforce accountability for quality at every level as a routine practice, rigorously uphold quality and safety requirements, and shift from targeted improvement campaigns to sustained, long-term quality management. Tangible improvements in quality will support the company's high-quality development and provide a solid foundation for accelerating its progress toward becoming a world-class equipment manufacturer.
